EnterpriseAlumni CEO Emma Sinclair MBE named in Computer Weekly's Most Influential Women in UK Tech 2026

EnterpriseAlumni is pleased to announce that CEO Emma Sinclair MBE has been named in the longlist of Computer Weekly’s Most Influential Women in UK Tech 2026, the longest-running list of women shaping the UK technology sector.

The list has been published every year since 2012 and this year’s results will be announced at Computer Weekly’s Diversity in Tech conference, held in London in October 2026 in partnership with recruitment firm Harvey Nash.

Computer Weekly created the list to stop the shortage of women in the UK technology sector being quietly set aside, and to make role models in the industry more visible and more accessible on the basis that visibility is what encourages more women and people from underrepresented groups to build careers in technology. It began by recognizing 25 women and was widened in 2015 to cover a broader range of the sector.

Names are put forward by readers and by the industry, then assessed by a panel of judges against six criteria: the authority a person holds to shape UK technology or to influence others who do; what she has achieved over the past 12 months; her profile as a role model and as an authority among her peers; her leadership; her likely impact over the coming year; and her contribution to the women in technology community, including how she has used her position to help other women progress.

Emma Sinclair is recognized alongside leaders including Vodafone Group Chief Executive Margherita Della Valle, Ofcom Chief Executive Melanie Dawes, Salesforce UK and Ireland CEO Zahra Bahrololoumi and Google EMEA President Debbie Weinstein.
