How Does CareerRoadmap Work? 

Our advanced AI uses a service called CareerSync to gather all information openly available about you from the internet. This includes your current job, previous roles, company profiles, social pages, education and skills. You tell us your career aspirations and we plot a career path for you based on everything we know about you. Think of it as your career co-pilot.

Beta Functionality and Current Limitations

The CareerRoadmap Beta has a restricted set of features we are testing but you will see it being continuously updated with new features over the coming months.  

You may experience above-average delays in waiting screens following each click of a button. This is normal (it’s doing quite a lot of hard stuff in the background!), but performance will improve before final release. So please be patient with it!

In the beta version of CareerRoadmap, CareerSync is used to gather all available information about you from the open internet. This includes your current job, all previous jobs, the profile of all companies you've worked for, your social pages, education, and skills.   

Based on this information, CareerRoadmap provides a text/natural language summary of your current resume, skills and experience and gives advice on your next job move. It then lists your current skills and gives you five next job options to choose from. When you select one, it will show the skills you need to develop for it, offer to write you a cover letter to apply and give you advice on what sort of questions you might be asked in an interview and suggested answers.  

Please note that the beta version can only find details for about 70% of people. If it can't find your details, you are able to upload your resume instead.

Is there any cost to use CareerRoadmap?

No! Right now, the service is completely free to use.

Who has access to my data when I use CareerRoadmap?

EnterpriseAlumni is the data controller for the information you provide when using CareerRoadmap, but ultimately this is your data and it belongs to you.  We do not make this data publicly available. The primary use of your data is to provide you with personalized career advice and to connect you with your next career move.
