Alumni Weeks are becoming a natural next step for organizations with established alumni programs—creating concentrated moments of visibility, momentum, and meaningful connection. RSM’s Alumni Connectivity Week, held January 12–16, 2026, exemplified this approach by bringing focus to three core elements: platform activation, career narratives, and local meet‑ups.

RSM used the week to spotlight its US/Canada Alumni Network, where former colleagues are considered “a valued part of the extended RSM family.” The firm encouraged alumni to update profiles, reconnect, and engage through its digital hub, while rolling out story‑driven features that highlighted boomerang return journeys and diverse career paths across markets.

That digital engagement translated into on‑the‑ground activity, including a Calgary networking night promoted by local leaders and marketing teams. As Marketing Leader Nicole Sullivan put it on LinkedIn, alumni could expect “great conversations, familiar faces, new connections, and plenty of opportunities to spark fresh ideas… the perfect way to start 2026 with momentum.” Calgary Office Leader Ian Constable added that he was “looking forward to kicking off 2026 at our alumni event,” underscoring local enthusiasm for the week’s programming.

Throughout the week, posts from RSM teams reinforced the purpose of the initiative—celebrating shared experiences, strengthening relationships, and emphasizing career support at every stage. Boomerang spotlights, in particular, underscored the long‑term value of staying connected and the mutual benefit of alumni relationships.
